Royal and I have a goal this year to go on a picnic every week. We have gone twice now, and it has been so much fun. It's a great way for us to go through our fridge and use up all our food and become creative. I have used mason jars for our containers, so I was excited to see a post about a meal in a jar!
Another use for mason jars is iced tea. Every morning I make a batch for the day. My favorite is trader joes mango black tea, or mixing mint tea with black tea. I found a perfect way to do it and it's quick and easy:
Boil water and pour two cups over 4 tea bags of your tea of choice.
Let steep for 4 minutes, and take out tea bags.
Add 2 tablespoons of honey to hot tea.
Once honey is dissolved, add 2 more cups of cold water.
I signed up for the Photoshop workshop, and I am so excited! I've been hoping to take my blog to the next level and Bri from design love fest seems like a wealth of knowledge on the subject. Checkout her blogshop, I would definitely attend that if I lived in the LA area.
My eye has been drawn to simple and natural interiors lately.
I'm really into these two homes, here and here on designsponge.
I found a camel back couch like this the other day on cl. It sold before I was able to get to it, after this photo, I'm on the lookout again. And of course the Eames lounger, and butterfly chair which I grew up loving at my grandparents. They have it all!
Love all the white in this sunroom. I'm lusting over that metal bench rocker. I can't get over those cushions...
This is something I've always wanted, a little table that Royal and I can sit at in the wee hours of the day, drinking our coffee.
I didn't notice at first but they have the bodum double walled glass that we love.
